While this meme is still in its early phases, might I suggest we get some sort of tagging system/all inclusive, easily searchable prompt archive in place from the get-go while it's still easy and doesn't require days of backtracking? The lack of tags on prompts has always been one of my biggest frustrations with the LJ kink meme.

I intended on adding a post for that as soon as part one was filled; in the meantime I hoped to use the tumblr to post the new prompts of the day as well as the fills of the day. Tumblr works a little easier for that kind of updates, including tags, without clogging the meme itself.
Though you are right, it might be simpler to start that prompt archive right away.

A language Beta thread would be awesome. LJ's a bit outdated I think.

That is a rather good idea, and I didn't think of it; I'm not exactly sure of how to organize it though so if you have ideas for it, please do tell me, I'll think of ways to create it.

I thought of letting people ask for help but it probably wouldn't work as well. Your way to do it sounds simpler, thanks! I'm putting it in place now, It should be up by tomorrow.

If you don't mind me asking, what is the point of this? I saw your post on [livejournal.com profile] hetalia, but the official kink meme also has "everything archived directly on it" whatever that means, updated indexes, is non-english-speaker friendly and doesn't segregate the other languages like this does, and only asks for 1/5 as many fills as requests.

I'll try to answer all your points to my best ability. To start with the "everything archived directly on it" and updated indexes bit... When you look at the LJ based kink meme, they have a list of indexes leading to other places on the internet such as this "delicious" website. Plus when you take a look at it, it doesn't have all the prompts or fills made easily accessible; it seems rather hard to navigate. I tried to make it simpler here by listing them all in organised posts. I'm updating the indexes often (weekly for fills, daily for prompts) so people don't even have to go look through the comments section and can simply click a link to see details on what they'd like to fill.

As for the non-english-speaker friendly thing,the LJ kink meme asks you to keep to English only; here, while the community is majorly in English, we allow you to request or post a fill in a different language if you'd like, there's an entire request part for it actually. Some people enjoy writing in their native language more than in English and they can do it here, opening the kink meme to a more international public. The segregation as you call it actually is to make it simpler for people; Not everyone is looking to write or read things in English, or any other languages, they can actually chose here.

As for the fills idea; we allow up to 500 requests at once, the meme will not freeze after five pages; it allows the authors to have much more to chose from, and prompters to have more time to post; they don't have to wait for the small time the requests will be open again to wait for a very long time again if they missed it.

Finally, the kink-meme you linked to isn't any more real than mine; it's slightly insulting you'd insinuate the one you're posting on is fake, though I do believe it isn't on purpose. I'd also like to point out there is nothing official about the LJ one; to be official, it would have needed to be appointed by either Himaruya or one of his publishing companies; However I dare to believe it would be considered bad advertising as kinks aren't shared by everyone, and openly saying you're fine with certain kinks could make potential fans (and future customers) doubt how serious the company is, or even assume the base material isn't for them.
